Mary Allen is a four-year-old girl who was born with a rare syndrome called Macrocephaly Capillary Malformation. She also has Hydrocephalus and severe Epilepsy. This means that she cannot walk, feed or dress herself. She has been in and out of hospital for the last four years and has had brain surgery five times, pneumonia and severe chest infections. Due to her condition she is under a hospice as her condition is life threatening and they are unsure what the future may hold for Mary.
Even though Mary has been through a lot in her short life her family describe her as a "bright little girl whose smile lights up the room and she is truly adored." The family applied to Promise Dreams for a holiday to Butlins as they knew the Teletubbies were going to be there. Mary loves the Teletubbies, her face lights up the second they are on the TV and Mary's Mom said that she deserves fun and a break from the hospital.
With the help of generous donations we make holidays like this happen so Mary can enjoy a lively environment and spend time on the beach with all of her family.
