A Big Thank you for all who have attended the 10th Birthday Gala Dinner.
A fabulous evening was had by all at Dunstall Racecourse on the 5th March 2011.
With the launch of their tenth year the Promise Dreams Team and over 400 kind people joined together to have a superb evening to raise monies for Promise Dreams.
With the evening getting off to a thunderous start with Trevor T and his gorgeous show girls treating the room to a spectacular show including fire throwers and stilt walking and getting all the guests doing the conga around the tables - and that's all before the starters were served!
The evening festivities continued with a beautifully presented 4 course dinner and then onto the other festivities Beverley Knight entertained the crowd with an acoustic set with songs from the past and present and then 80's Diva, Jaki Graham rocked the crowd most of which joined her on stage!
The evening then took on a sombre moment when the Promise Team played their DVD showing the children they have helped and want to help - which brought home to everyone in attendance the need for their support for the charity and thanking them for being there. The flow of the evening was not disturbed by this but bidding on the Auction items was inspired by the footage shown and a quickfire round of bidding ensued with all the auction prizes raising a significant amount of money for the Charity.
Dancing until 2am finished off what can only be described as a superbly successful evening and one that we hope will set the tone for the fundraising from now forward.

Don your walking shoes and walk 10 miles to help raise as much money as possible for Promise Dreams. The Walk of the Black Country will start at Himley Hall, Dudley and finish at Wolverhampton Racecourse in Dunstall, Wolverhampton. The event is FREE to enter meaning all the sponsorship money will be going towards the nominated charities (there wont be an entry or administration fee)!!!!

Over 80 ladies joined us for a lovely luncheon at Don Salvo Restaurant in Wolverhampton on the 15th June 2011. With a cooking demonstration showing how to create either Risotto Funghi or Penne Salmon Pasta. The event raised over £1,200 for the charity and was a huge success - look out for details of our Christmas Ladies Lunch which will be coming soon!
